CCL 2026 SEASON REVEAL

11.12.2025 // By: College CoD

College CoD officially returns with its 9th competitive season. Last year saw the Eagles of Oklahoma Christian and the Fisher Falcons go all the way to an epic Game 7 Round 11. This year, the records are reset, with renewed aspirations for that winning moment. Only one team can claim the title, but to do that they must GO BEYOND.

FORMAT

REGULAR SEASON

Drawing upon the previous years format, the CCL will continue with its geographical multi-region layout comprised of two conferences per region. Each conference will contain two divisions divided at random to start the year. The divisions will start by playing a single round-robin starting the week of January 26th. Upon conclusion of the single round-robin, divisions will be restructured to intensify the competition. The top half of each division will join into a new upper division and similarly the bottom half of each division will be a new lower division. During this second half of the regular season, teams will only play new opponents that they did not play in the first half of the regular season.

CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Returning from the 2025 season are conference championships! The top team from each upper division in a conference will square up in a single Best of Seven matchup to be crowned as conference champions!

PLAYOFFS

The top 16 teams from each conference will meet up in a 32-team double elimination Regional Playoff. Regional Playoffs will be a 3-day tournament starting on April 10th. Those teams that place top 8 or better will advance to CCL Playoffs.

32 teams will battle it out in CCL Playoffs which will take place on April 17-19th.

LAN returns for CCL in 2026! More details regarding the LAN will be communicated as we get deeper into the season.

Please familiarize yourself with the 2026 CCL Rulebook as several items have been updated from previous years.
