Match One: Ole Miss Red vs. Mississippi State Map one was Ahzir Cave hardpoint, which saw Ole Miss Red do a great job of setting up for hills and breaking into hills Mississippi State had control of first, and it allowed them to win map one 250-145. Map two was search and destroy on Arklov Peak, where Ole Miss Red won the first four rounds before Mississippi State finally won one and then the next two before the teams traded rounds to make it 5-4 in favor of Ole Miss Red and Mississippi State rushed to plant the B bomb but couldn’t hold Ole Miss away as they won 6-4 and went up 2-0 in the series as they went to game three. Game three was domination on Hackney Yard and Mississippi State did a great job in the first half as they finished it up 110-45. Ole Miss Red tried to come back in the second half but it wasn’t enough as Mississippi State won 185-120 to force a game four. Game four was Hackney Yard again, but this time it was hardpoint where Ole Miss Red started out strong but Mississippi State came clawing back and won 250-230. It all came down to search and destroy on Piccadilly where Mississippi State came out huge and won 6-0 to complete the reverse sweep and won 3-2. Match Two UTK vs. Full Sail Map one of the game was Ahzir Cave hardpoint and it was a close game throughout, but Full Sail pulled it out at the end to win map one 250-213. Map two was search and destroy on St. Petrograd and Full Sail was able to close out rounds when they had the advantage as they won the map 6-3. Map three was domination on Gun Runner and the first half was very close, as both teams held a two flag advantage for a long period of time in the game, but a late surge by Full Sail allowed them to have a 85-74 lead at halftime. The second half was again very close and UTK almost came back, but it wasn’t enough and Full Sail won the game 157-156 and the series 3-0.
